Maesgwynne Mansion Holiday Cottages

We are a small family run business. We have four dog friendly self-catering holiday cottages in Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire, West Wales.

Rob bought this property in the 1980's for its beauty, peace and tranquillity. 'We love walking in our woodland and watching the changes throughout the year. We appreciate the easy access to sandy beaches to the south and the rockier coastline around Cardigan to the north'.

The original property comprised of an old Georgian mansion (now demolished) and numerous outbuildings in a derelict state. Over the past 23 years we have gradually repaired and converted several of the buildings, restored the lake and improved the garden and grounds.

Rob & Chris live in one of the converted barns and Alex & Jess have renovated the old servants quarters of the original mansion and live there with their 2 children. We look after seven cottages within the courtyard.

A quadrangle of stone cottages, beautifully located within 40 acres of woodland grounds, a peaceful fishing lake and outdoor enclosed heated swimming pool.

This property is centrally located to explore the whole of the West Wales peninsula. The secluded location is ideal for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing break.
